Many years working as Production Designer in cinema, television
and advertising, but in parallel are engaged in Sociology,
especially in the field of Communication (media and advertising),
Space and Recognition. This commitment connect the studies and
the work as Interior designer and Production designer, the Master’s
Degree in Letters (humanity’s studies) in "History and criticism of
cinema" and the recent Master's Degree in Sociology in "Public
speaking and institutions".
My professional career began in the cinema in 1986, but since
2000 I am working mainly in advertising. Production designer
creates for the spot "the visuals" of communication and must
therefore constantly confronted with the artistic and aesthetic
dimension, but this can not be separated from the practical
dimension of commercial communication: individuals and social
context represent the point of departure and arrival of
comunication. In addition the designer, through the reconstruction
of the space, must represent and communicate the identity of those
who move within it (and his reference group).
Even if I perform this iob for many years, I am applying the
transversality of my studies and my skills in different sectors;
Master degree in Sociology with a thesis entitled "Of the living
spaces and representations of luxury through advertising" can be
considered a summary of different knowledges and interests.
